What is Liposuction?

How is Liposuction Done?

General anesthesia may also be preferred. Your plastic surgeon decides your anesthesia type and the areas where the procedure will be performed are limited with a pencil. One or more small incisions are made near the treatment area. Depending on which technique will be used, thin cannulas or thin tubes are inserted through these incisions. Under the guidance of the surgeon, the vibration of the instrument allows the deep fat to be melted and removed. The duration of the procedure varies depending on the size of the area and the amount of fat removed.
After Liposuction
With today’s advanced liposuction techniques, problems such as swelling, bruising or skin ripples have now been reduced to a minimum. Many patients can continue their daily lives where they left off a few days after the procedure, depending on the extent of the procedure and the physical intensity of their current lives. Although it varies depending on your pain threshold, many patients can get through their recovery process without using painkillers.

Weight Gain After Liposuction
